When the sky falls...

Dark Starry Night  Sometimes, I stare at the dark sky in the evening to see if the stars are still there. It has been years since I felt the warmth of these majestic artifacts of light and heat, yet I still hope that maybe one day, I can find the warmth that once covered me during the coldest night. Is it a bad thing to be weak? I think not. If anything, through our weaknesses we grow into the better versions of ourselves. But what if we are uncapable of filling the gap within by ourselves? What if that gap was once filled by someone else, someone that is no longer with us? Are we to be lost in time and lose our sight by the alluring illusions of the past? Or should we, somehow, hold on to something and move forward? We are all humans after all. Despite being years and years away, their sight can be welcoming for those who want to feel adopted by those stars. Distance, then, is no matter. What matters is that how you feel and what you attach onto them. Just a thought. What would I ...
